3D Animation - Rigging
Introduction to Rigging within the 3D Pipeline
What is Rigging?
Rigging is the process of creating a "digitial skeleton", and then binding it to a model. This allows us to move and pose the model, and ultimately incorporate the model into animations.
This "digital skeleton" is often called a "rig" and the animators move/pose it using "controls."
